The Fearless Youth Collective is a 10-week training programme developed to give young people a wide range of experience and practical skills in music creation and production. The sessions are held weekly and are 2 hours long in small groups allowing our tutors to best support the young people. The sessions cover topics such as:
The sessions are led by two of our tutors, each having years of experience in music production. One with a focus on the sound production side and the other with a focus on song and lyric writing.
The programme is free and open to young people aged 16-30 living in Nottingham. All equipment that is needed is provided and participants receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

We held a music event on the 31st of March during Youth Music’s Give a Gig Week. The music event was free for all to attend and we had 16 artists perform. All performers were paid and were mainly young and local to Nottingham.
We brought together an evening of artists, fans, and local communities across the city, raising awareness of young people’s careers in music and amplifying grassroots music projects, at Marcus Garvey Ballroom.
