FYA offers young people who are not in education, employment or training the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging, come together and learn from other young people, and build confidence and skills that can keep them away from violence on the streets. Working with young people who have been victims of knife and hate crime and supported by the community safety teams from the police and the city council, we help young people, mainly Africans and Asians, to become more confident and actively involved in tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.
